Wheelchair Access

Lidl supermarkets are modern, bright and run with typical German efficiency. The floor areas are kept clean and have easy wheelchair access and the shelves and display stands neat and well stocked. The bakery department is very large and offers a great range of breads, cake and savoury items as well as a selection of organic products, in fact a range of organic items can be found throughout the store’s different departments. The in-store promotions are eye catching and well planned, like their different themed weeks where food items from a certain country are displayed and promoted. Each month Lidl vary their discounts and special offers so for regular shoppers there are always new bargains to be found and their special offers are not all buy 2 get the 3rd half price type offers, there are discounts on individual items too.

Some departments have a slightly limited choice such as the cosmetics and fresh meat and seafood sections whereas others have a great variety such as the beer and wine department that has beers from around the world including alcohol free and organic beer. Aside from all the other products one would expect from a leading supermarket chain, Lidl stock clothing, home decoration, sporting goods, electrical items, kitchen appliances, toys and tools which are usually only found in the really large supermarkets.
